How to connect Google Ads Account on NGAZE?

Connecting your Google Ads account allows NGAZE to read campaign performance data and include paid advertising insights in your marketing dashboard and reports.

⚠️ Important: NGAZE does not create, edit, or spend money on Google Ads unless explicitly agreed as part of a managed service. This connection is read-only for reporting and insights.


What You’ll Need Before You Start #

Before connecting Google Ads to NGAZE, make sure:

  • You have Admin access to the Google Ads account
  • The Google Ads account is active (even if no campaigns are running)
  • You are logged into the correct Google account in your browser

If you manage ads through an agency, ask them to grant you Admin or Standard access.


Step-by-Step: Connect Google Ads to NGAZE #

Step 1: Log in to NGAZE #

Sign in to your NGAZE using your admin credentials.


Step 2: Go to Integrations #

Navigate to:

Settings → Integrations → Google Ads


Step 3: Click “Connect Google Ads” #

Click the Connect Google Ads button. You’ll be redirected to Google’s secure authorization screen.


Step 4: Select the Correct Google Account #

Choose the Google account that has access to your Google Ads account.

If you don’t see the account, you may be logged into the wrong Google profile.


Step 5: Grant Permissions #

Approve the requested permissions. NGAZE only requests read-only access to:

  • Campaign performance
  • Spend data
  • Clicks, impressions, and conversions

Step 6: Confirm Connection #

Once approved, you’ll be redirected back to NGAZE and see your Google Ads account listed as Connected.


What Data Does NGAZE Pull from Google Ads? #

After connection, NGAZE will display:

  • Ad spend trends
  • Clicks & impressions
  • Cost-per-click (CPC)
  • Conversion data (if configured in Google Ads)
  • High-level campaign performance summaries

This data feeds into:

  • Monthly marketing reports
  • Performance dashboards
  • Strategic recommendations

How Often Is Google Ads Data Updated? #

  • Data syncs daily
  • Some metrics may have a 24–48 hour delay (standard Google Ads behavior)

Common Issues & Fixes #

❌ I don’t see my Google Ads account #

  • Make sure you have Admin or Standard access
  • Confirm you’re logged into the correct Google account
  • Check if the Ads account is under a Manager (MCC) account

❌ Connection failed or expired #

  • Reconnect the integration from Integrations → Google Ads
  • Ensure pop-ups are not blocked
  • Try an incognito browser window

❌ Spend shows as $0 #

  • Campaigns may be paused
  • Date range may be incorrect
  • Ads account may not be linked to the correct location

Does NGAZE Manage My Google Ads? #

No — unless explicitly agreed.

By default:

  • NGAZE analyzes and reports
  • NGAZE does not launch, edit, or pause campaigns
  • Ad spend is always billed directly by Google
