How do I install the NGAZE WordPress plugin?

Installing the NGAZE WordPress plugin enables NGAZE functionality on your WordPress website and connects your site to the NGAZE platform.

This guide walks through the installation process step by step.


Before You Begin #

Make sure you have:

  • WordPress admin access
  • An active NGAZE account
  • Your NGAZE API key
  • Access to your WordPress dashboard

Installation Method (Recommended) #

Step 1: Log in to WordPress

Log in to your WordPress admin dashboard at:

yourwebsite.com/wp-admin

Step 2: Go to Plugins

In the left menu, click:

Plugins → Add New


Step 3: Upload the NGAZE Plugin

  1. Click Upload Plugin
  2. Choose the NGAZE plugin ZIP file
  3. Click Install Now
  4. Once installed, click Activate

If your site was built by the NGAZE team, the plugin may already be installed.


Connect the Plugin to NGAZE

Step 4: Open NGAZE Plugin Settings

After activation, go to:

Settings → NGAZE
(or NGAZE in the WordPress sidebar, depending on setup)


Step 5: Enter Your NGAZE API Key

  1. Paste your NGAZE API key
  2. Click Save / Connect

If the key is valid, the plugin will confirm a successful connection.


Step 6: Confirm Connection in NGAZE

Log in to NGAZE and verify:

  • Your website shows as connected
  • Website-related modules begin initializing

Initial data may take 24–72 hours to appear.


After Installation: What to Expect #

Once installed and connected:

  • NGAZE features are enabled on your website
  • Website data begins syncing automatically
  • Performance, SEO, and audit tools become active
  • No content or design changes are made automatically

Common Issues & Fixes #

Plugin Installed but Not Connecting

  • Double-check the API key
  • Make sure there are no extra spaces in the key
  • Confirm the key belongs to the correct NGAZE account

Plugin Not Visible After Install

  • Refresh the WordPress admin page
  • Confirm the plugin is activated
  • Check if your role has plugin permissions

Data Not Appearing Yet

This is normal.

  • Allow 24–72 hours for initial sync
  • Avoid reinstalling or reconnecting repeatedly

When to Contact Support #

Contact support if:

  • The plugin fails to install or activate
  • The API key is rejected
  • Your site shows connected but no data appears after 72 hours
  • Your website was recently migrated or rebuilt
