How do I activate an AI Agent?

To activate an AI Agent in NGAZE, you need to ensure the required integrations are connected and the agent is enabled. Once activated, the agent begins monitoring data and will generate insights or alerts when conditions are met.

Before You Activate an Agent #

Make sure:

  • You are logged in to NGAZE
  • You have access to the correct location
  • Required integrations (Google, website, reviews, etc.) are connected
  • Data has begun syncing (new accounts may need time)

Some agents will not activate without required data.

How to Activate an AI Agent (Step-by-Step) #

Step 1: Open the AI Agents Library

From the left navigation menu, click:

Agents → Marketing Agents (Automation Library)

You’ll see a list of available AI Agents.

Step 2: Find the Agent You Want to Activate

Agents are grouped by type:

  • Loyalty Agents
  • Reputation Agents
  • Campaign Agents
  • Website Agents

Each agent shows a status:

  • Active
  • Not Active

Step 3: Open the Agent

Click on the agent to view:

  • What it monitors
  • What data it uses
  • Any requirements for activation

Step 4: Connect Required Integrations (If Needed)

If the agent shows Not Active, check:

  • Required networks (Google Business Profile, Analytics, Website, Ads, etc.)
  • Permissions for those integrations

Go to Settings → Integrations to connect missing data sources.

Step 5: Enable or Activate the Agent

If the agent supports manual activation:

  • Enable the agent
  • Save any required settings

Once enabled, the status will change to Active.

Step 6: Allow Time for the Agent to Run

After activation:

  • Allow 24–48 hours for the agent to begin monitoring
  • Some agents require data history before producing output

Not all agents trigger immediately.

What Happens After Activation

Once active, the agent will:

  • Monitor connected data sources
  • Analyze conditions on its schedule
  • Generate alerts, insights, or recommendations when triggered

Silence usually means no issues were detected.

Common Activation Issues

Agent Remains “Not Active”

Most commonly caused by:

  • Missing integrations
  • Insufficient permissions
  • Not enough data yet
  • Wrong location selected

Agent Is Active but No Output Appears

This is normal if:

  • Trigger conditions haven’t been met
  • The agent runs on a longer schedule
  • There is no issue to report

Best Practices #

  • Activate agents relevant to your current goals
  • Avoid activating too many agents at once
  • Ensure integrations remain connected
  • Review outputs periodically, not constantly

When to Contact Support #

Contact support if:

  • All required integrations are connected
  • The agent remains inactive after 48 hours
  • An agent was active and stopped unexpectedly
  • You believe a trigger should have fired but didn’t
