What You’re Seeing #
You may notice:
- Google Business Profile shows as Connected
- Reviews section is empty or shows “No data”
- Review count does not match Google
- Customer Sentiment is unavailable

- Reports
Why This Happens (Most Common Reasons) #
1️⃣ Wrong Google Business Profile Location Connected #
If you manage multiple locations:
- The wrong location may be connected
- NGAZE only pulls reviews for the selected location
This is the most common cause.
2️⃣ Insufficient Permissions #
Review data requires:
- Manager or Owner access in Google Business Profile
If access is limited:
- Connection may succeed
- Review data may not load
3️⃣ Reviews Are Still Syncing #
After connecting GBP:
- Reviews may take 24–48 hours to appear
- Some Google data updates only once per day
This delay is normal.
4️⃣ Google Review Count Mismatch #
Google:
- Filters spam and policy-violating reviews
- Updates public counts differently than API data
This can cause:
- Slight mismatches between Google and NGAZE
- Temporary discrepancies
5️⃣ Recently Verified or New Profile #
If the GBP was:
- Recently verified
- Recently claimed
- Recently merged or edited
Google may delay review availability temporarily.
How to Fix It (Step-by-Step) #
✅ Step 1: Confirm the Correct Location Is Selected #
Go to:
Settings → Integrations → Google Business Profile
Verify:
- The correct restaurant location is selected
- The address matches your actual location
✅ Step 2: Check Your Permissions #
In Google Business Profile:
- Confirm your role is Manager or Owner
- If unsure, ask the account owner to verify access
✅ Step 3: Wait 24–48 Hours #
If GBP was just connected:
- Allow time for review data to sync
- Avoid reconnecting repeatedly
